A long-standing corporate tension between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon broke into the public domain in November 2021 when JPMorgan filed a $162 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against Tesla concerning stock warrant adjustments. Musk responded publicly by threatening to give the bank a 'one star review on Yelp.' The legal dispute was quietly dropped in late 2024, and in January 2025 Dimon announced the two had 'hugged it out,' later hosting Musk at JPMorgan's headquarter events in June 2026.
